- KCP played a role in Japanese language & culture education, as part of the International Cooperative Education Programs (an Internship program in Japanese companies) held by the University of Cincinnati.
- Established partnership with Tokyo Care Giver Academy (Japanese language institute for Philippine caretakers) in the field of Japanese language education.

- KCP International Language Institute got officially approved as a school juridical person.

- Due to the change of the school status, KCP International Language Institute changed its name to “KCP International Japanese Language School.”

- KCP published “Virtual Hiragana Class in One Week ~ DVD de manabu Hiragana Isshuukan ~ ” (publication by Bonjinsha).
