During the previous school BBQ event we held a cooking contest to provide helpful information for students doing study abroad. The main theme of the contest was for students to share ideas about simple and tasty foods that others can cook in their daily life. 17 classes kindly participated in this contest by submitting their dishes, and staffs who did the judging were pretty busy tasting and evaluating each dish one after another. Each dish had its good taste so it was a tough decision for the judge, but they finally made their decision and came up with two dishes as the best dishes among all the submitted foods. (The result is posted on the 1F lobby of the school) M41 class's "Shish Kebab" and M51 class's "Vietnam style chicken wing" are the ones that are chosen.
Mr. Erik G of M41 got the recipe from his father back home to cook this time, and Vietnam style chicken wing was cooked by American student Mr. Alex B under the advises from a Vietnamese student Ms. Ha. Those two dishes were excellent among all the great foods that students cooked this time, and the judges who tasted all the foods in this contest were very impressed by the quality and creativity of the submitted foods! |
