Some students from Seigakuin University who have been studying to become Japanese language teachers have participated in our classes as Japanese teacher trainees for about 2 weeks. This time most of those trainees were foreign students studying in Japan, and one of the members was a graduate student of KCP Japanese Language School. It was Mr. Wan Peng who graduated about 4 years ago, it was such a great surprise for us!
During the 2 weeks the trainees went through various class observations and also played a role as teaching assistants. On the last day they performed a class in beginners level as teachers!
Students found the trainees including Mr. Wan very easy to talk to, and we believe the experience was fruitful for both the trainees and students.
Mr. Wan said that by actually standing at a teacher's spot in class he understood what a hard work it is to teach students. He said he now see what his teachers went through when teaching him in the past! He said he will keep focusing in his goal and will do his best to achieve it. It is always so nice to see former students making steady steps toward their future.
