Last week the results of EJU that was held in June were delivered to the school.
Mr. Chou-Kanji and Ms. Han-Peishun scored the highest score among all the people who took the same test in Japan. They scored 370 points for the total grade of listening, listening/reading comprehension and reading comprehension tests, and 50 points for writing test. They both are being modest, saying that it was just luck, but we believe that this is something that one cannot achieve without true efforts.
We interviewed the teachers who who are in charge of their classes and got the following comments.
"Ms. Han has been seriously taking the university preparatory EJU classes without missing even one day, and has also been practicing her listening skills everyday by listening to practice CD at the school."
"Mr. Cho shows great performance not only in paper tests but also in conversation, and has participated in a speech contest held in Shinjuku ward as a speaker. I believe that such positive approach and eagerness lead to this result"
We asked Mr. Chou what is the secret for the success, and he said that "Making constant daily effort is more important than anything else. Don't think that you could just start making effort tomorrow, always do your best in each moment"
EJU is a test that one takes before the university entrance exam, so we would like all of you who took the test this time; no matter of the result; to keep challenging for higher goals.
