On December 10th, we had a cooking class for this term.
Many students want to learn how to cook Japanese foods, so, this time, teachers came up with a menu which is traditional and yummy, but also surprising. It is Relakkuma Inarizushi, 'Inakkuma'. We made one of the famous Japanese characters, Relakkuma's face on traditional Japanese food, Inarizushi with seaweed and cheese.
Some students checked Relakkuma's faces on their iphones and designed its face.
We also made Mr. Okada's special dish, Misochanko. Everybody loved it. We didn't know Mr. Okada is such a good cook!
December is the month of Christmas, so, we made a cake, too. The cake is called 'Mille crepes'. We made many crepes and piled them up with creams in between. We had to be very careful not to tear the crepes, but we succeeded and had nice cakes!
