Japan is now in "Tsuyu" rainy season, and it will last for about a month. Last day we had a tea ceremony in a tea room that has Shobu flower as main decoration symbolizing this time of the year. In Japanese tea ceremonies these seasonal aspects are always important. Painting hang in Tokonoma space shown image of a water fall in mountain, and the sweets prepared for that day had shape of Ayu fish swiming in clear water. Eve in rainy season we could feel so refleshed by having a tea in this room's gentle / refleshing atmosphere. |
