Last Friday was the mid-term exam day.
Students often think that they are having hard time preparing for the exam, but behind the curtain teachers are strugling too, both in making the tests and grading tons of them.
This is the week when we could see many teachers grading the mid-term exam in the teachers' office.
They are always so serious in grading tests, we could hear many discussions among teachers, debating whether a sentence sounds natural or not, comments saying that it is acceptable from grammatical point of view but sounds strange, another voice saying that there are some cases that we use that way of expression.... By going through those serious discussions they reach their decisions.
Starting from the end of this week teachers will start individual mid-term interviews to review the graded exams with students and provide advices and feedbacks. You might feel that you are kept in suspense, but please give the teachers a little more time! |
