Yesterday in the morning time, we had a chance to see a very unique eclipse from Kyushu to Kanto area. Because of its unique ring-like shape that type of eclipse is called "Ring of Fire".
The peak time for the eclipse was around 7:30AM, and some teachers and students were at the 6F smoking corner where we don't have a roof that will block the sight, and they appreciated the spectacular show in the sky. 5 students who were there did not have special goggle to see eclipse with less risk of hurting eyes, so they were strugling to somehow see the sun by squinting when the sky was a little clouded, punching a small hall in a box to cast a shadow that has the same shape as eclipse etc. Then Ms. M, one of the instructors showed up with the goggle and shared it with them, so everyone was able to see the eclipse successfully!
We tried taking photos of the eclipse but they did not show well so we are copying a link to a page that shows video of the eclipse. Please take a look!
