Last day we had a cooking class instructed by one of our Sri-Lankan graduates, Mr. Sampat. He taught students how to cook Sri-Lankan style pumpkin curry and spicy chicken curry on that day. He kindly brought some unique spices that he received from his home, and we cooked spicy, delicious curry that is very different from curry in Japan!! All the students who participated in the cooking class were very excited to challenge the recipe that they have never cooked before, and they were also very keen to hear many things from the great "sempai".
Students had chance to hear interesting stories from Mr. Sampat in Japanese and they also enjoyed the delicious curry together, it was such a great day!! We wish we could do this more often!!
