Last Friday we had a school bus trip to visit Nikko Edo-mura in Tochigi prefecture. Unfortunately we had a rainy cold day but many students enjoyed the trip. We had a chance to take a class group picture using movie set "Matsu no Rouka" as background. The set is often used in Japanese traditional samurai shows and movies.
The second picture shows a scene in "Kai-Kai-tei", this building in Edo-mura is built in the way that people walk in tilted floor, and it is hard to walk straight when your sense of balance is crazed by the building structure. There was also a place where people can dress up as historical samurai warriors, princesses and ninja. Some students actually dressed up with those costumes and had a good time taking photos with their friends and walking in the Edo-mura sets in those wears. Wherever we go students can always find maximum joy in the trip!
