Last day we had Hatsu-gama at KCP.
Hatsu-gama is the first tea ceremony of a year, it is like a new -year party for those who perform tea ceremony. Some KCP graduates who practiced in tea ceremony class when they were students here joined the ceremony this year, so Ms. Minagawa and current students attending tea ceremony class had a great Hatsu-gama sharing time with those who learned tea at KCP long time ago. One of the former students used to be a student here 10 years ago and working full time in Japan. The other student has been working in Japan as a priest of Christian church while he is doing his PHD course research at Hosei University.
It is always a joy and pleasure for us to see our former students visit KCP for a traditional event like Hatsu-gama, we believe that for those who learned tea ceremony here KCP is a place where they can feel at home whenever they come back. We can see the strong bond between the people who shared the same passion and interest!
