January term started on January 13th, and some students have told us about their experiences of things they have tried for the first time in their life while they were having their winter break in Japan, let us share that of a student from Malaysia.
She went to snow boarding with her friends from USA during the break, and they took a night bus that leaves Tokyo at 11:00PM and they reached Akakura ski resort in the next day's morning at 6:00AM. They used on-site rental service for their snow board and suits and enjoyed snow boarding. The friends from USA are very good with snow boarding, and they taught her a lot about the sport. It was the first experience for her to do snow boarding and also the first time to see snow itself. She fell on snow a lot while she was there but it was such a fun experience for her and it became her favorite sport. She wants those who have never experienced snow boarding to try it too because she is sure they will like it!
