Last weekend there was an international sports interaction event sponsored by Japan Association of Sports, and Mr. Cho who is one of our table tennis club's member and a teacher who is in charge of the club, Ms. Sugimoto, participated in the event's table tennis division and won the second place among 8 teams who participated in the tournament!
After the matches participants had a nice chat in a party and those who gathered there that day; no matter of their gender, age and nationalities, shared a great time through the interaction.
Mr. Cho said that it was the first time for him to join such event, and he enjoyed the interaction with many Japanese people through his favorite sports; table tennis, which made him feel so glad that he came to Japan.
Ms. Sugimoto said her feet sore because she has been out of practice, but it was a fun experience and she would like to bring the whole table tennis club members next time if she has the chance. Sounds like we can expect further success of table tennis club in the next sports event! |
